Bungie has been on a roll with the success of Destiny 2, following the release of its latest expansion and Raid in The Witch Queen and Vow of the Disciple, respectively.

Players have loved the new content made available to them, which includes the arrival of new features such as weapon crafting, Void 3.0 and more.

However, following the company acquisition by Sony, it seems like Bungie has huge plans of expansion, as it’s actively looking to branch into other forms of media such as film and TV with its many IPs.

Along with that, it also seems like the company is working on a new project, after a Destiny 2 Art Director announced his plans to work on this mysterious game.

For a while, fans theorized about the game’s nature. However, recently, a new job listing on Bungie’s Careers page might reveal the scope of the title as it seems like the company’s working on a new third-person action game.

According to the listing found by The Game Post, Bungie has been actively looking for a Creative Director, who will be the “tip of the spear to define the vision and features for a new 3rd-person action game.”

It’s unclear whether the game will be set in the Destiny universe with the characters, Guardians have met over the years. However, it’s exciting to see the developers finally pivot from their bread and butter in the Destiny franchise, to create something new that fans will love, and hopefully, we get to hear more about it in the near future.
