An Airport Terminal in the US Was Evacuated After Old

Easter Sunday in Boston Massachusetts was met with chaos, as passengers at the city’s international airport was forced to evacuate one of its terminal due to a bomb scare.

The incident took place at Terminal A of Boston’s Logan International Airport, where TSA agents found a suspicious item inside the checked luggage. However, the bomb scare soon died down, when investigators found out that the item in question was an old PlayStation console.

According to the statement provided by the Massachusetts State Police, the bomb squad was brought to Logan Airport’s Terminal A at around 4 PM, when a suspicious piece of item was found in the luggage of a Delta flight.

Officials noted that the old PlayStation console’s poor condition caused abnormalities, when it was screened using the X-Ray machine. While the police were glad about not having to face a dangerous situation, passengers were clearly unhappy about it as they were quickly cleared out of the terminal.

Social media platforms have multiple videos and photos of confusion and panic among passengers as they weren’t provided with a clear cut answer on why they were being forced to leave the airport. However, after an hour of screening and investigating by the police, officials at Logan Airport re-opened Terminal A at 5 PM for passengers to carry on with their travels.
