The new free-to-play realistic tactical first-person shooter for mobile devices, Arena Breakout, is something that Tencent has been actively working on for quite some time.
Arena Breakout is already available in China with its own esports scene and the publishers are now ready to take their first steps toward a global release. Tencent announced the pre-download and closed beta dates today on 14th November.

Tencent announced important dates for its upcoming mobile title, Arena Breakout, which is being touted as the mobile version of the hardcore and realistic multiplayer tactical first-person shooter, Escape from Tarkov.
As per the latest official announcement, pre-download for Arena Breakout will go live on 16th November across both Arena Breakout’s official website and Google Play. This will be followed by the Closed Beta of the game releasing shortly after, on 18th November, but it will only be available for select countries – Australia, New Zealand, The Philippines.
For the upcoming Closed Beta, the game will only be available on Android with a release for iOS soon after. The minimum requirements for mobile devices are as follows:
Arena Breakout will be supported by more than 350 devices including but not limited to Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra 5G, Xiaomi Poco X3 Pro, Huawei P30 Pro, OPPO A94, Realme C25s, OPPO A53, VIVO Y11. On the other hand, the game will not be supported for the following devices like Redmi Note 4, Samsung Galaxy j7+, Huawei M3.
The mobile title was released in July earlier this year exclusively for China, with a global version nearing the end of its development cycle.
There are multiple features that set this game apart from the rest like a hunger and injury system, highly extensive gun modding, and capabilities to loot and extract enemies while fighting.
