Avengers: The Kang Dynasty To Be Reportedly Written by Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania Scribe

The Marvel Cinematic Universe seems to have found the writer for one of the two biggest Phase 6 projects in Avengers: The Kang Dynasty.

According to Deadline, Kevin Feige has found his guy in Jeff Loveness, who was recently part of another MCU project in Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, which will kickstart Phase 5 next year.

Loveness joins Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings director Destin Daniel Cretton in the film, which is set to begin Phase 6 of the MCU on May 2, 2025.

Jeff Loveness recently wrote the script for Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania.

At the moment, not much is known about the film’s story and the cast. Judging by the title, it’s pretty much confirmed that Jonathan Majors’ Kang the Conqueror will play the central antagonist of the film. Majors made his debut in the MCU as He Who Remains in the Disney+ series, Loki. Moreover, he will soon be appearing as the iconic Marvel villain in the Ant-Man threequel, which also stars Paul Rudd as Scott Lang and Evangeline Lilly as Hope Van Dyne.

While Phase 5 will expand the MCU with more characters like Daredevil, Echo and Blade, Phase 6 is shaping up to be a big one like Phase 3, which culminated with the Infinity Saga. Other than Avengers: The Kang Dynasty, Marvel will also be unveiling the Fantastic Four with Matt Shakman directing the film based around them. Along with that, a second Avengers film titled “Avengers: Secret Wars” on November 7, 2025.

All these projects suggest that the MCU is inching towards another massive battle involving some of the greatest heroes and villains, and it will be interesting to see how the story will pivot around the likes of Kang and the Fantastic Four.
