Battlegrounds Mobile India announces a massive 2 crore prize pool for the Battlegrounds India Series (BGIS) 2023 on its official handle through a video. BGIS is a highly anticipated event in the Indian gaming community, where underdogs battle with the best teams from India. After the post-ban period, this is going to be the first major official event by Krafton.
BGIS 2023 registration is going live soon on the official website of BGMI, which is https://esports.battlegroundsmobileindia.com/. Players can easily go to the website and register their 4-5-man squad for the BGIS 2023.
BGIS 2023 The Grind Date Revealed
In the video, Battlegrounds Mobile India also reveals the date of BGIS 2023 The Grind, which is scheduled to kick off on July 20, 2023. The Grind is an official scrimmage session held before the start of the Battlegrounds India Series for invited teams with a prize pool. According to reports, this time, along with BGMI Tier 1 teams, underdog teams who perform well in the BGIS 2021 and reach rounds 2, 3, and 4 were also invited to The Grind. Players who have registered for the BGIS 2021 event can check their emails to see if they got an invite or not. Players need to remember that only registered email IDs got the invite mail.
The prize pool of BGIS 2023 is double that of BGIS 2021; however, the format has not been confirmed yet, but players can speculate that the last time’s format may repeat itself this time.

The first season of BGIS was stunning and exciting, and BGIS Season 1 earned India a spot in the PUBG Mobile Global Championship in 2021. There is a greater chance that India will earn a spot in PMGC 2023 this year because there are three special invites available, and English casters are also discussing the PMGC slot for India in the PMWI 2023 competition.
