Battlegrounds India Series (BGIS) 2023 is officially announced by Krafton, check the registration website.
BGIS 2023 is a Battlegrounds Mobile India official tournament where underdogs battle with top teams in BGMI. BGIS 2023 is going to be the first major event after the unban of Battlegrounds Mobile India in the country. BGMI plays an exceptional role in the comeback of Esports in India.
July 17, 2023, Krafton announces BGIS 2023 with a prize pool of 2 crores and the date of BGIS 2023 The Grind, which is going to take place on July 20, 2023, with a total of 256 teams invited for the event.

BGIS 2023 Registration will go live soon. Players need to be ready with their government-proof ids for verification, their character ids, and team details.
Registration Process: Go to the website and fill out the team details, including all player’s government is like Adhar cards, in-game names and character ids, team names, and email addres, and submit once all details are filled out successfully. However, the registration hasn’t gone online yet, but it will be very soon (1 or 2 days) once the website is updated.
BGIS 2021 Format
- In-game Qualifiers – Top 1024 teams go to the online qualifiers.
- Online Qualifiers – 1024 Teams
- Quarter-Finals – 64 Teams
- Semi-Finals – 24 teams
- Grand Finals – 16 Teams
With this format, underdog teams can easily participate in BGIS. Players need to play classic ranked matches with their registered team members. There are going to be a certain number of matches for the qualification teams, and they need to maintain the balance in finishes and position points. Make sure your team’s average of finishes and position points is higher than others. All matches played with registered members are going to count.
Before Battlegrounds India Series 2023 is taken off, the official scrimmage session is going to happen, which is BGIS 2023 The Grind, which starts on July 20th. This time all the underdog teams that qualifed for the BGIS 2021 Rounds 2, 3, and 4 has got invitation to the BGIS 2023 The Grind. There are a total of 256 invited teams in The Grind, which is going to be an amazing start event.
