BGIS 2023 Round 3: Number of Teams, Format, Dates, Where to Watch & More

The second round of Battlegrounds Mobile India Series (BGIS) 2023 has concluded, with several groups competing both online and offline. While some of the teams that did not qualify through The Grind made it to Round 3, those who played their matches offline are still in the dark. 

Audiences will be able to see their favorite teams such as Team Soul, Team X Spark, and Team GodLike, compete in BGIS Round 3. Global Esports, led by Harmandeep “Mavi” Singh, is in peril because there has been no update on their qualification. 

Round 3 will start soon and will consist of teams from the Round 2 online qualifiers as well as the top 32 teams from BGIS 2023 The Grind.

BGIS 2023 Schedule and Format

Battlegrounds Mobile India Series (BGIS) 2023 Round 3 will take place from 14th September to 17th September and a total of 256 teams will compete in this round. 

The 256 teams consist of 224 teams that qualified from the Round 2 online qualifiers, and the top 32 teams that got a direct entry from BGIS 2023 The Grind finals. Krafton has divided these 256 teams into 16 groups. The top four teams from each group i.e. 64 teams will proceed to Round 4.

Due to the large number of competing teams, Krafton organized both online and offline matches. The following teams competed in the online qualifiers and advanced to Round 3:

Where to Watch BGIS 2023 Round 3

Round 3 of the BGIS will begin at 1 p.m. Indian Standard Time (IST) and can be watched on the Jio Cinema App and the channel. 

Similar to the Round 2 matches, only a few group games from the 32 groups will be live-streamed. Popular teams including Team Soul, Gladiator Esports, and Blind Esports will return to play in Round 3 of BGIS 2023. 

In the recently concluded Round 2 online qualifiers, teams like Team X Spark, Numen Gaming, Team Godlike, and Enigma Gaming showed complete dominance. Fans are hoping that these teams will continue their momentum and dominate the third round and grab a spot in Round 4 of BGIS 2023.
