The BGIS 2023 The Grind is a scrimmage session for invited teams before the main BGIS 2023 event. 256 teams have been invited, including Tier 1 teams and underdog teams from BGIS Season 1.

Battlegrounds Mobile India Series (BGIS) 2023 is the most anticipated event for BGMI esports fans. The official scrimmage session for the invited teams before BGIS kicks off is called BGIS 2023 The Grind. It is scheduled to start on July 20, 2023.

A total of 256 teams have been invited to The Grind event. Some Tier 1 teams are already known, like Team Soul, Godlike, OR Esports, and more. This time, underdog teams from BGIS Season 1 are also getting invites, as are the teams that performed well in the inaugural season of BGIS 2021 rounds 2, 3, and 4.

To check if your team has been invited, you can check your registered email. The mail will be in your inbox or spam folder. Only registered emails will receive the invitation.

The event is played over a 13-day period and includes 32 invited teams that are divided into four groups: A, B, C, and D. Eight teams per group battle it out for the prize pool of 200,000 INR.

The top 16 teams from the 32 invited teams for the event qualify for the finals of BGIS The Grind. The finals are a two-day event that was won by Team XO, with Team TSM being runners-up for the event and Godlike Esports getting the third spot. Savitar from Team Forever gets the MVP title of the BGIS 2021 Grind.

BGIS 2023 The Grind is set to kick off around July 20th. BGIS 2021 teams should make sure to check their registered email to see if they got an invite or not.

In addition to the prize pool, the top teams in BGIS 2023 The Grind will also earn points towards qualifying for the main BGIS 2023 event. The more points a team earns, the higher their seeding will be in the main event.
