It seems that a January 2023 return for the game could be more possible than ever right now. Many events have been hinting towards that window, most recently the South Korean Ambassador stated that he will be looking in to resolve the suspension for the title. Many popular content creators have also hinted towards this window, so it seems many players have their mind set on a January comeback for BGMI.
Most recently, as spotted by AFKGaming, a player who goes by the name, predatorsasuke, joined Alpha Clasher’s streamed. He claimed that he was a Google employee and spoke about a temporary return date for the title. According to the alleged Google employee, the game should return to Google Play Store on January 15. He added that this isn’t the exact launch date, but the game should be back before it.
Hector was the one that added fuel to the fire, as he was also asked about BGMI’s return on his recent livestream. Through his reply, Alpha Clasher’s source was sort of confirmed as Hector also stated that the game should return in January as someone high in the hierarchy at Google has relayed him with the same information. He added, stating that, it does not matter if someone from the gaming community states this, but the Google employee has stated that it should return before January 15.
Moreover, Hector also elaborated on his conversation with Thug about this situation. He told the viewers that he has spoken to Thug about it, and Thug replied that he would let Hector know two weeks before the game will release. So rest assured, Hector’s fans will also be informed about the release two weeks before it comes out.
