Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI), the popular mobile game developed by Krafton, has received another server maintenance break. This is the second maintenance break that took place this month.
Maintenance breaks are part and parcel of online multiplayer games, but the timing and frequency of these breaks for BGMI have raised some eyebrows among players and fans.
The previous maintenance break, which occurred on December 6, lasted for approximately half an hour. In contrast, the most recent break, as spotted by AFKGaming, took place on December 19 and was scheduled for only five minutes. It did not appear to cause any significant issues for players.

However, it is worth noting that both breaks differed in terms of their expected timing and the wording of the announcement messages.
The December 6 break began at 12:00 pm and ended at 12:30 am, while the December 19 break started at 11:30 am and ended at 11:35 am. The announcement messages for the two breaks also differed in their tone and content. The previous message simply informed players of the scheduled maintenance and apologised for any inconvenience, while the latest message emphasised Krafton’s efforts to make the game “safe, secure and action packed,” and included a request for players to act responsibly.
Despite the uncertainty surrounding the game’s availability, fans of BGMI remain hopeful about its return to India. Krafton has stated that it is working to resume BGMI services in the country, and the attention being given to the game through these maintenance breaks only serves to heighten excitement among players.
It remains to be seen what new changes or updates will be implemented as a result of these breaks, but for now, fans will have to wait patiently for any further developments.
