EVOS Esports’ Filipino import, Gerald “Dlar” Trinchera revealed his plan to go back to the Philippines. According to the pro player, after the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) Development League (MDL) Indonesia (ID) Season 6, he hasn’t done anything aside from live stream and talk to his fans. The reason for him returning to the Philippines may be due to the Piala Presiden Esports 2022 where most teams, including both the EVOS Icon and EVOS Legends rosters, are vying for a spot in the upcoming International Esports Federation (IESF) 14th World Esports Championship. Dlar was not included in the roster because the event is specifically for Indonesian players only.

EVOS Icon’s Dlar is one of the most discussed names in the Indonesian MLBB esports scene. A lot of fans and popular personalities believed that sending one of the best Philippines (PH) EXP Laners down to EVOS Legends’ MDL roster was a bad investment. However, coach Bjorn “Zeys” Ong did reveal that roster in the next season.
The MLBB Professional League (MPL) ID Season 11 is still a while away. Through a livestream, Dlar shared what he has been doing and what he plans as he waits for the next season to arrive.
During his stay in Indonesia, the pro player has been hanging out with various EVOS Legends talents and doing livestreams. When Eko “Oura” Julianto, a retired pro player, invited him to a meet up, Dlar revealed that he had plans to go back to his place of origin.
“I will return to PH on Friday, later [back] to Indonesia, I don’t know (when),” said the Filipino import.
The exact date of his trip was not mentioned as well as the date of his return to Indonesia. Given that he won’t be able to participate in the Piala Presiden Esports 2022, this short vacation is a well-deserved break in preparation for the MPL ID Season 11.
