Florida Man Watches Spider-Man: No Way Home 292 Times, Breaks World Record
Everyone loves a good second viewing of a movie they recently watched. But Florida resident Ramiro Alanis took that concept to the next level, as he watched Marvel and Sony’s Spider-Man: No Way Home almost 300 times.
According to the Guinness World Records, Alanis has broken the record of the most cinema productions attended of the same film by watching the third movie of the MCU Spider-Man franchise 292 times.
The Florida resident watched the movie during its four month theatrical run between December and March, and to achieve this record, Alanis has had to endure multiple challenges. He initially held the Guinness World Record after he watched another Marvel blockbuster in Avengers: Endgame 191 times. However, his record was broken last year by Arnaud Klein, who painstakingly watched Kaamelott: First Installment 204 times.

In order to achieve this feat, Alanis had to watch the movie without doing any other activities. During the entire run of the movie, he couldn’t check his phone, take a nap or even take a bathroom break, as it could lead to that entry being disqualified. Additionally, he was forced to watch the entire movie, including the credits and the post-credits scene as well. To submit the entry, he had to showcase his ticket stub, and a statement was taken from a theatre attendant to verify that Alanis watched the entire movie.
For the first few weeks, Alanis was attempting to break the record at an exhaustingly fast pace, as he watched five screenings in a single day, and after toiling for three months, and watching over 720 hours of Spider-Man: No Way Home, Alanis is the record holder once again, and according to him, people should “think twice” attempting to break his record again.
