Garena Free Fire 5th Anniversary Event: What to expect?

Free Fire MAX players will get their hands on a futuristic new map called Nexterra which features several points of interest like Grav Labs, Deca Square, and Museum.

Free Fire is also getting an updated logo and UI (User Interface) as Garena spruces up the game for their 5th anniversary. The developer has also promised ‘new visuals’, ‘elevated gaming experience’ and ‘co-creation’. Here is what to expect during the event:

After various successful past collaborations, Garena has teamed up with global sensation Justin Bieber who is being added to the game as a playable character called J.Biebs. Players on the Advance Server have already gotten access to J.Biebs with the OB35 update. J.Biebs has a passive called Silent Sentinel, which helps teammates within a six-meter range to block the 7% damage with EP (Energy Points). This gets added to the player’s EP bar. You can increase the damage blocked by levelling up the ability.

Harold Teo, producer of Free Fire, Garena said “The tremendous support we have received from our global community of fans and players over the years has made Free Fire what it is today and this celebration is for them.” He added, “We are excited and humbled to partner with a global icon such as Justin Bieber, whose influence in fashion and music has undoubtedly inspired many worldwide, including our Free Fire community which expresses their own creativity through battling in style.”
