Genshin Impact Year 3 is coming to a close and we are nearing the final patch of Sumeru with patch 3.8. Players are excited to see what Fontaine has on offer in patch 4.0 but we are still a couple of patches away from experiencing the brand-new region. Genshin Impact 3.8 Leaks: Banners
It looks like Genshin Impact patch 3.8 will have only one new character and the patch will be mostly occupied by reruns. Klee and Eula are the most probable characters to receive reruns as Klee is getting a new skin and it has been more than a year since Eula received a rerun banner. Kokomi and Wanderer will also be making appearances next patch according to speculations but nothing has been set in stone yet.
Kokomi and Wanderer will make an appearance in the story which is why most players are speculating their rerun banners. We will have more concrete information about the upcoming banners once the 3.8 beta test launches which will coincide with . Genshin Impact 3.8 Leaks: Skins, Events and Other Content
Update 3.8 will have a Klee skin up for grabs for Genesis Crystals while Kaeya will also get a skin that you can earn for free. There will be a special event, which will very likely take place in the Golden Archipelago Islands, and we can expect a story quest surrounding Klee. If you do not obtain the Kaeya skin when the event is available, you will still be able to purchase it in the future.
There will be various side-events as well with leaks suggesting that we will get a Rollercoaster Tycoon-style event where we get to design tracks and share them with other players. You can also expect past events to make a return with new storylines and refreshed rewards.

The update is expected to arrive on 5th July after patch 3.7 ends unless there are unprecedented delays.
