Global Esports Shines on Day 1 of Upthrust Esports BGMI Challengers Showdown Semi Finals

Day 1 of Upthrust Esports Battlegrounds Mobile India Series (BGMI) Challengers Showdown Semi Finals has concluded with seasoned squads dominating the event. The experienced team of Global Esports was the most consistent team on Day 1 of the event. Some of the other teams like iQOO Soul, Enigma Gaming, Entity Gaming and Medal Esports also showed consistent performances on the first day of the Semi Finals. 

The event will see 24 teams compete for a spot in the Grand Finals.

Global Esports grabs top spot after Day 1 of the Semi Finals

The seasoned squad of Global Esports was the most consistent team on Day 1 of the Semi Finals and placed at the top of the table. The team’s aggressive performance helped it grab a total of 41 points along with 1 chicken dinner, 25 of which came via finishes. iQOO Soul placed second, it also put forth good fights and grabbed 41 points along with 1 chicken dinner.

The upcoming squad of Enigma Gaming placed third and scored 36 points along with 1 chicken dinner. Entity Gaming placed fourth, it showed aggressive gameplay across all its matches and got 32 points, 23 of which came via finishes. Medal Esports placed fifth and got 30 points with 1 chicken dinner. Team 8Bit, GenxFM Esports and Godlike Esports placed sixth, seventh and eighth with 28 points each. Team 8Bit was also able to secure a chicken dinner on the first day of the Semi Finals.

  • Trails (Global Esports) – 9 finishes.

  • RalphOG (Alibaba Raiders) – 9 finishes.

  • Shubham “NinjaJod” Shaoo (Team XSpark) – 8 finishes.

A few seasoned teams like Mogo Esports, WindGod Esports, Gujarat Tigers and Reckoning Esports could not put forth consistent performances and placed in the second half of the points table. These teams will now have just 8 matches each to grab a place in the top 16 and qualify for the Grand Finals.
