Hideo Kojima has claimed that one of his next projects may revolutionize the video game and film space.
In an interview with The Guardian, the legendary game designer stated that one of his titles will be a new medium, which seems to suggest that Kojima has something special planned for his fans.
At the moment, the Japanese director is building the infrastructure for the title with Kojima Productions, and it seems to be the biggest challenge that is hindering his dream from being a reality.
Kojima Productions is currently rumored to be developing two AAA titles, with one of them being the Death Stranding sequel, which was accidentally blurted out to be in production by lead actor Norman Reedus.
The other game in production is reportedly titled “Overdose”, and it features popular American actress Elle Fanning, and over the past few weeks, her involvement has been widely teased by Kojima Productions. The rumored horror title could be the same project that was announced to be in development earlier this year during Kojima’s surprise revelation at the Xbox and Bethesda Games Showcase.
During the announcement, Kojima had stated that it will take some time for the game to come out. However, with the modern technology around him, the designer has stated that he is ready to challenge himself to create a game with a never-before-seen concept.
