Developer IO Interactive has made a major announcement regarding its hit action franchise, Hitman.
During a 7-year run, the developers at IO Interactive have pushed out three Hitman titles, which have been adored by fans and critics alike. The last title in Hitman 3 came out nearly three years ago, and soon, it will undergo some massive changes.
As part of its vision for the Hitman video game universe, the developers will soon be “simplifying the purchase experience” for players, as they rebrand Hitman 3 to Hitman World of Assassination, with the change coming into effect on January 26.
Alongside a rebrand, Hitman World of Assassination will feature all three titles of the franchise. This initiative will see Hitman World of Assassination offer all the Hitman experiences from IO Interactive.
