The Valley gains a morale boost after dominating its matches in the playoffs

The NA squad continued to prove its doubters wrong as it claimed its second win in the M4 World Championship playoffs stage. While Todak was able to pull off a suspenseful split push attempt thanks to the valiant efforts of its jungler Muhamad “Rival” Kamarulzaman, The Valley was still able to maintain its composure and close the series with a clean sweep victory.

Through a post-match press conference, FwydChickn shared how the members were able to grow together as a team after their disappointing run on the group stage of the world series event.

“We were humbled after our [group stage] loss and we’re slowly building back up to have that confidence to be the champions,” he said.

The Valley finished with a 1-2 score in the group stage, sending them down to the do-or-die lower bracket. The team lost against Team HAQ from Malaysia and RRQ Akira from Brazil. Despite the lackluster performance, the team was able to bounce back in the lower bracket after winning its first two matches.

“We’re pretty confident right now. After every win, we get more and more confident and I’m sure after every win, we’ll be more and more loud that it’ll match our [level of] confidence on-stage and off-stage,” stated FwydChickn.

The Valley will have a short break and shall be back in action on 12th January for its next match in the M4 World Championship playoffs stage. It will be interesting to see if the NA squad will be able to maintain its momentum and reach the grand finals.
