Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) esports coach Nishant “iFlicks” Murlidharan has alleged that there is a lot of . The hosts of the ongoing pro scrims have allegedly denied slots to iFlicks’ team Hyderabad Hydras for the past month and despite repeated requests, he has allegedly been ignored.
iFlicks feels the hosts of pro scrims are being hypocritical
iFlicks said that Hyderabad Hydras has been a finalist at all official BGMI events and is considered a tier-one organization. He claims that the organization has been paying salaries to its players so they can play and practice but are constantly denied slots at the BGMI scrims.
He alleged that there are teams that do not have a full roster and yet they get invites while others are getting invited just through their contacts. He is frustrated at the fact that Hyderabad Hydras is trying hard to sustain itself but is receiving nothing for its efforts. He concluded his post saying, “The organizers claim they want to boost Indian esports but it’s all f***ing politics.”
Hyderabad Hydras has consistently participated in BGMI events like the Battlegrounds Mobile India Series (BGIS) 2021, Nodwin X Loco All-Stars Invitational, BGMI Masters Series 2022, BGIS Showdown 2022 and more. Despite BGMI being banned, the team is hopeful of the game’s return and is trying to practice in the ongoing pro scrims.
