Mavi Reveals Why No Team Was Able to Copy OR's Holding Spot and Rotation

OR Esports (Orange Rock) was one of the most successful mobile esports organizations in PUBG Mobile back when the game was still around in India. Its star lineup at the time was headed by Harmandeep “Mavi” Singh, who during a recent livestream session took a minute to speak about a few things from the team’s glory days.

When one of his viewers said that during his OR days, Mavi never used to stream the scrim and practice sessions in order to avoid other teams from identifying or copying their holding spot and rotation, the talented shotcaller responded with a resounding yes.

This was followed by a few reminiscing moments from the golden days of OR Esports as they represented India at the PUBG Mobile World League 2020: East (PMWL 2020).

Mavi talks about the glory days of OR Esports and why no one was able to copy their strats

After one of Mavi’s viewers spoke about how no team was able to read OR Esports during its golden days just because the practice sessions were never streamed, the 22-year-old agreed and stated “No one will ever be able to it.”

However, he added that now everyone has seen him streaming and learned through it, pointing out that the strategies would not be as effective.

Talking about the time when Mavi had streamed for the first time ever, the mobile gaming community went absolutely crazy. Not only did he give them a glimpse of his strategies and overall management of the team within the server, but he also achieved an astounding viewership of about 50,000 to 70,000 concurrent viewers.

“Within India, players started adopting the split strategy in the game after watching me use it while streaming. They were amazed to find out that the game could be played with teammates staying away from each other” said Mavi.

: The related segment starts from 01:52 onwards.

This was followed by one of his viewers asking Mavi whether he misses the golden days of playing with the OR Esports roster, to which he responded by saying that them playing together resulted in that era turning golden but they themselves were responsible for the downfall as well.
