Mobile Legends (ML) Hero Tier List for August 2023
The Mobile Legends (ML) Tier List for August 2023 ranks every hero from the least viable to the best in ranked games. The list shows which heroes are doing well in the current patch cycle. Nevertheless, you have to understand and figure out how to use these heroes in order to maximize their potential to start winning your matches and climbing the ranked ladder. This ML Tier List for August 2023 is meant to give you an idea of which heroes are performing well in the current meta. How you climb the ranked ladder will be greatly influenced by your playstyle.
It is important for the team to be well-balanced between Engage (Tank, Assassin, Fighter), Support, Mage, and Marksman. Using this tier list will help you decide which heroes you should use in Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) for each role to improve your chances of winning.
What’s New: Ixia is now added in the Marksman tier list.
With the recent MLBB emblem system revamp, the era of assassin junglers have made a major comeback. Ling can now keep up in terms of farming speed against tank utility junglers such as Fredrinn and Balmond. His split pushing capability allows him to take map control to the next level, especially if you have an Angela on the team.
With the new emblem system in MLBB, Fanny gets stronger as you have more options instead of being limited to what the Assassin Emblem offers. As one of the hardest heroes to master, being able to play her properly is a big achievement for a lot and can potentially lead to a long win streak considering she has one of the highest mobility and burst damage as an assassin in the game.
Players who want to avoid crowd control effects will enjoy playing as Martis in MLBB. His abilities allows him to do multiple dashes as he slashes enemies while also having brief immunity to crowd control effects. Martis can be played both as a Jungler and an EXP Laner which makes him quite flexible.
With the recent buffs, Alpha has become one of the most underrated heroes in the game. With enough Cooldown reduction, the hero can continuously pull off dangerous combos that can pin down enemies who don’t have a Purify spell.
Valentina remains as one of the best Mages in the game due to her flexibility. Her ability to copy a hero’s Ultimate ability makes her very dangerous as she can easily turn the tides of a battle with the right ultimate steal.
Yve’s Ultimate ability is what makes her one of the strongest Mage heroes in Mobile Legends. Her zoning potential is so powerful that enemies will need to pick Valentina if they want to even the odds of a teamfight against an Yve who can easily pin down enemies within her reach.
Yi Sun-Shin is played more as a jungle assassin instead of a marksman. His ability to switch from melee and ranged attacks allows him to be very flexible and he can easily take down enemies who try to run away or secure objectives.
Despite multiple nerfs, Wanwan is still one of the top performing marksmen in the game. She has a purify ability on top of her insane mobility which makes her hard to counter. If she is not against a 5-man party that can execute ambushes and lock her down, she can wipe out entire squads with her Ultimate ability.
Floryn is back in the meta due to the recent Emblem System revamp. Her map-wide heals and area stun make her a very flexible healer for a team. Her ultimate ability can also counter anti-heal/shield abilities and equipment so your healing will be in its full potential most of the time.
Team compositions will most likely have a few crowd control heroes in it. If an enemy picks high crowd control heroes like Atlas or Franco, you can never go wrong with having a Diggie on your team who can negate all forms of crowd control with his Ultimate ability.
Similar to Floryn, Uranus is back in the meta for the same reason. His sustainability is overpowered, especially with healing supports. If a teammate picks Floryn or Estes, having a frontline Uranus will almost guarantee a victory for the team.
Despite the recent changes which lessen the viability of Utility junglers, Fredrinn remains as one of the best tanks in the game. The hero can build as many tank items as he can and still be able to deal massive burst damage with his Ultimate ability. His taunt skill can also be useful to get your enemies to focus their attacks on you instead of your allies.
