Mogo Esports Announces BGMI Roster Featuring Former Gods Reign Players
Mogo Esports is one of the upcoming Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) organizations in India. The organization is known for organizing various PC and Mobile esports tournaments across India at the university and collegiate level.
It has now been revealed that the organization has signed the ex-Gods Reign roster for the 2024 BGMI season.
Mogo Esports reveals its BGMI roster for the 2024 season
Mogo Esports made an announcement on 16th May 2024 on Instagram through a and revealed that it has acquired the former Gods Reign BGMI roster. It has also added Robin “Robin” Shekhawat, one of the most prominent In Game Leader’s (IGL) in the BGMI scene to the roster. The ongoing Battlegrounds Mobile India Series (BGIS) 2024 event will be the first event for the roster under the new banner.

The Mogo Esports BGMI roster secured a total of approximately INR 2.5 Crores in prize money by showcasing their dominance and emerging victorious in various official BGMI tournaments such as Battlegrounds Mobile India Series (BGIS) 2023, Battlegrounds Mobile India Pro Series (BMPS) 2023, BGMI Masters Series (BGMS) Season 2 2023, which was televised on Star Sports, and they also won multiple third-party tournaments, including Nodwin BGMI Champions Cup and the India Today League Invitationals events.
The Destro led roster saw a huge amount of success in the 2023 BGMI season under the Gladiator Esports banner. It was then let go by Gladiator Esports and signed by Gods Reign at the start of the 2024 BGMI season. The roster was not able to show the same performance in the 2024 season as it was only able to grab a top 5 spot once and it placed in the top 10 in only 3 out of the 14 plus tournaments it played so far.
It will be interesting to see how the roster performs with the addition of Robin under the new banner in the ongoing BGIS 2024 event. So far, it has shown mixed performances in the qualifying rounds of the BGIS 2024 event but has grabbed a spot in Round 3 which will commence from 16th May.
