The new players have already showcased their skills in various local Mobile Legends esports tournaments and will take it up a notch by joining the big leagues in the upcoming MPL PH Season 9.

The announcement was made through the official social media handles of the esports organization, revealing the two MPL rookies Jhonville “OUTPLAYED” Villar and Jefferson “Amethyst” Santos.

OUTPLAYED previously played under various Mobile Legends esports teams such as Amihan Esports, SV Empire, and Z4 Esports. Amethyst, on the other hand, was a former member of the Juicy Legends Q4 champions, Origen Esports.

However, the team shall look to redeem itself in the upcoming MPL PH Season 9 with two new promising rookies under its banner.

It will be interesting to see if Omega Esports is able to impress its fans in the upcoming MPL season.
