Omega Esports is yet to finalize its team roster for MPLI 2021

The highly anticipated annual esports event – the MPL Invitational 2021 will soon kick off featuring the top teams from all over the SEA (Southeast Asia) region competing for the lion’s share of the $100,000 USD prize pool.

Through a vlog posted on 31st October 2021, Z4pnu expressed that his team is still torn between bringing in Kielvj or Raizen for the upcoming MPLI 2021. According to him, Kielvj is having a hard time keeping up with the team during scrims, hindering his overall performance.

“He’s a bit confused on the rotations and I think he’s feeling awkward because he needs a few more scims” stated Z4pnu.

The team is in a bad position because they only have a few days left to practice and the team can’t find scim partners on Sundays because everyone is taking a day off.

Z4pnu expressed that regardless of the player they choose to draft, Kiel and Raizen have similar playstyles coupled with a similar hero pool. So either of the players will work in their favour to fulfill the role

“It will all depend on who can do rotations better” stated Z4pnu.

The team will be doing scrims as many as they can and will finalize the Omega Esports lineup for the MPLI 2021 before the tournament officially starts.

With the finally revealed, Omega Esports is scheduled to open up the event with a match against the MPL PH Season 8 runner-ups, ONIC PH. The team is seeded in Team SMG’s group and will be facing the MPL Singapore (SG) champions in the quarterfinals.

It will be interesting to see if the veteran player, Kielvj takes up the Jungle role or will the star rookie, Raizen fulfill the role in the upcoming MPLI 2021.
