Orangutan Elite wins the Esportz Premier Series 2022 – Free Fire

One of the five titles that was played as part of the Esportz Premier Series 2022 was Free Fire MAX, witnessing a clash between 12 teams that qualified through five qualifiers that had taken place in 2022.

A really close fight was witnessed as multiple teams claimed the top spot on the points table during the course of the tournament. However, Orangutan Elite was able to shift gears when needed to edge past the competition, delivering the most consistent results overall.

Despite winning just one match, Orangutan Elite was able to gather 88 placement points, enough to sustain its aggressive playstyle as it managed to accumulate 100 finishes, to sweep the top spot.

Overall the competition was top-notch with all teams crossing the 100-point mark except for Hex Esports. A difference of just nine points separated Xtreme Troner Esports from the champion as it scored maximum placement points (103) during the tournament but lacked in firepower resulting in 76 finishes.

It was surprising to see Blind Esports finishing in the sixth spot despite winning three matches. It was not able to maintain its consistency and only showed a few glimpses of brilliance every now and then.

Orangutan Elite has started the 2023 season with a win, claiming the trophy along with INR 5,00,000 in prize money. It will be interesting to see how the teams performs in this year.
