Scout Shows Confidence in Indian PUBG Mobile Teams

In a recent livestream, Tanmay “Scout” Singh was hosting a watch party for the ongoing PUBG Mobile Global Championship 2022 (PMGC 2022). The World Of Battle’s professional Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI player) Harpreet “RonaK” Janjuha and a Pakistani PUBG Mobile YouTuber Humera “LILY” were also a part of this watch party. While casually discussing Indian teams’ performance in BGMI, Scout stated that if PUBG Mobile had never been banned, Indian teams would have won on the international stage.

The former rosters of Orange Rock and TSM Entity were at their pinnacle prior to the ban of PUBG Mobile. The rosters of these two teams included the following players:

Orange Rock:

TSM Entity:

  • Vivek “ClutchGod” Horo

  • Jonathan “JONATHAN” Amaral

  • Suraj “Neyoo” Majumdar

  • Abhishek “ZGOD” Choudhary

Showing confidence in his former team and TSM Entity, Scout stated that if they had gotten the opportunity to practice every day without the inconvenience of the game getting banned, Orange Rock and TSM Entity would have won every international trophy. “At that time, these two teams were at a different level,” said Scout. “The lineup of Orange Rock: Scout, Mavi, GiLL, and VIRU. And TSM Entity’s ClutchGod, Neyoo, Jonathan, and ZGOD. If the lineups of these eight players at that time had stayed together, the game wouldn’t have got banned, and if all had kept practicing day and night. Every international trophy would have been ours. Guaranteed. It cannot happen now, not anymore,” he added.

Orange Rock put forth an incredible performance with its last roster, in its short stint of around two months, at the PUBG Mobile World League 2020: East (PMWL 2020), where it ranked second. On the other hand, TSM Entity was arguably the best PUBG Mobile team in India. It showed impressive performances throughout its journey and won numerous tournaments. However, in September 2020, the government of India banned PUBG Mobile under Section 69A of the IT ACT 2000. With no hopes for the return of PUBG Mobile, Krafton introduced BGMI in the country to fill the void of PUBG Mobile in July 2021. However, the government of India went on to suspend BGMI under the same law one year after its launch. As a result, the Indian PUBG Mobile/BGMI teams could not stick with a single game amidst multiple bans.
