Songs of Conquest finally left early access after two years on May 20, and with it came immediate success for developer Lavapotion. The studio has announced that Songs of Conquest has sold 500,000 copies in its first week while also revealing a new roadmap for the game.
“Thank you every single one of you who played our game, supported us through Early Access all the way into 1.0,” Lavapotion said. “Today we are announcing a huge milestone, as well as a VERY bright future for the game!”
With the new Songs of Conquest roadmap, Lavapotion has committed to new content for the game through 2025, including four new Wielders and four new campaigns for current factions as paid DLC, and even the addition of two new factions with a new Song (large campaign). The two new factions will be known as Vonir (trolls) and Roots (plants).
“The Bleak East lies to the North-East of Patrium, and is the home of descendants from both Arleon and Barya,” the studio says of the new campaign expansion. “Hardy settlers who now live their lives free of their former masters on the coast of the Bleak East. But they are not alone, and we can barely wait to share their Song with you.”
They added: “Both new factions will be introduced through a new Song, a large single-player campaign that will tell the story of how they came to be and how they will affect the larger world of Aerbor.”
Also confirmed was the window for the console release of the game on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S in Fall 2025.
Lastly, free updates for the game will include new units, artifacts, and improvement to the game’s multiplayer both from a PvP and Co-Op perspective.
