The latest virtual reality gaming console by Sony has received good reviews from all around, with giving it a 9/10 too. However, it has been revealed that the situation isn’t all hunky-dory for all the players, as many have been reporting issues with the new Sense controllers that come with the console.
A recent thread on the r/PSVR subreddit by u/HoodieTheCat78 has surfaced online, with loads of buyers of the thread reporting similar issues with the controller. For many users, either the left or the right Sense controller becomes unresponsive while playing games, but works properly on the homescreen. The user has also posted a bunch of fixes players can refer to in order to remedy the situation.
One of the main fixes that has worked for many people is turning the affected controller off and then using PS5’s DualSense controller to get into the game and then turning it on. This supposedly helps the control to function properly. There are other troubleshooting ways to that players can use, such as resetting the controllers with pins, switching on the PS5 through affected Sense controller with USB-C and more.
Players should note that they should have the See Through or View Surroundings feature switched off when trying to use one of these fixes. PS VR2 users will just have to make do with these until Sony releases a patch to fix these issues. Interested readers can check out the Reddit post below:
