Challenger Finale and Grand Finale of SPS New State Mobile Open India to take place on LAN
One of the biggest New State Mobile tournaments to take place in India with a total prize pool of INR 1,00,00,000 ($123,000 USD) is reaching its final two stages – Challenger Finale and Grand Finale.
This will mark the conclusion of the event which started last year on 12th December with the Open Qualifier. Now, more than a month later the top 24 teams have been shortlisted, ready to go against each other in the upcoming final four days of the tournament from 26th to 29th January.
However, things will be slightly different as the competition is now transitioning from an online to offline phase. All the qualified teams are gearing for a head-to-head clash on LAN which will add a whole new layer of mental complexity and flavor to the already intense tournament.
Complete information about the LAN has not been revealed by ESL India and NODWIN Gaming so far. Also, it is unclear whether these two stages will be held in a studio environment or in front of a live audience.
Already a few esports tournaments within India have taken place on LAN with a sizable audience in attendance. It will be exciting to see if the mobile gaming audience gets a chance to witness some of the top players in action live.
