Upthrust Esports, one of the top mobile esports tournament organizers from India, is ready to organize another BGMI (Battlegrounds Mobile India) practice tournament to kick-start its esports journey in 2023.
This comes just a few weeks after the success of BGMI Pro Scrims 1.0 and BGMI Pro Scrims 1.0 – The Ultimate Showdown, won by Global Esports and TSM respectively.
Building on the success of these competitions, Upthrust Esports BGMI Pro Scrims 2.0 – The Ultimate Arena has been announced with 32 directly invited teams, scheduled to take place from 10th to 16th January.

Alongside the regular BGMI Pro Scrims 2.0 which follows the normal battle royale game mode, Upthrust Esports will also be organizing the new 1v1 concept where teams directly take on each other head-to-head.
A total of 32 teams have been directly invited to compete in this tournament which is not an official competition but more of an organized practice session that will be livestreamed.
The event will be taking place from 10th to 16th January following a single-elimination format. However, the entire schedule of the matchups between teams has not been announced so far.
The Ultimate Arena will be following a unique single-elimination format instead of the classic battle royale gameplay.
A total of 32 teams have been invited which will take on each other in a best-of-three series.
Across the seven days, multiple rounds will be witnessed as the 32 teams dilute down to just one team standing victorious, walking away as the champion.
