Valorant Ludwig x Tarik Invitational to feature top VCT teams
The Valorant Champions Tour might not kick off until next month’s lock in tournament in Sao Paulo, Brazil, but fortunately content creators Ludwig ‘Ludwig’ Ahgren and Tarik ‘tarik’ Celik have put together a unique LAN invitational to tide us over.
The Ludwig x Tarik Invitational – formally announced by Ludwig via Twitter – will be held over two days on January 14 and 15, and is set to feature Sentinels from the VCT Americas League, T1 from the VCT Pacific League, as well as Valorant Challengers League competition from Team SoloMid and The Guard.
Needless to say, there’s a lot to be excited about, considering this will be the first time we see the revamped squads of some of the biggest organisations in the scene – on LAN to boot.
Alongside the pro games, the Ludwig x Tarik Invitational will host a special showmatch that will pit the hosts against each other.
Tarik will be flanked by some of OfflineTV’s biggest stars such as Jodi ‘QuarterJade’ Lee and John ‘Masayoshi’ Cable. Ludwig, meanwhile, has the backing of FPS demon and former Sentinels player Michael ‘shroud’ Grzesiek, among some of Mogul Moves’ finest.
The Ludwig x Tarik Invitational isn’t the duo’s first rodeo together. Last month, they hosted the Lil Bro Cup – an online show match event that saw teams made up of some of North America’s top talent duke it out for their share of a $10,000 prize pool. As such, it looks like we’ll be seeing plenty more of Ludwig and tarik in the future.
