Players must learn the specifics of enemy vehicles, including the placement of key equipment modules and armament details, in order to destroy them. The game features quality combat physics without “healthbars” and includes proper shell ballistics and detailed indications of the armor penetration process, splinter trajectories, and crew and equipment damage.
The interface, vehicle controls, and progression mechanics have been adapted to make the game comfortable for mobile players while retaining all that makes War Thunder a unique game. More than 200 different armored ground vehicles, ships, and aircraft are available for players to control, including light, medium, and heavy tanks, self-propelled and anti-aircraft artillery, fighters and bombers, destroyers, cruisers, and dreadnoughts. The game currently features military vehicles from the USA, USSR, Britain, Germany, France, and Japan from World War II and some early Cold War years, with plans to add new famous vehicles up to some of the most modern ones.
The developers have also confirmed that there will be no progress wipe in the future, and any game currency purchased during the previous alpha test will be credited to the player’s account in Beta. Additionally, both alpha-testers and beta-testers will receive special gifts when the game is released, and all participants of the alpha-testing will receive 3 days of Premium account.
Overall, War Thunder Mobile promises to deliver a dynamic and realistic vehicular combat experience on mobile devices that were previously unavailable. With the Open Beta test now available for download, players can experience the game for themselves and participate in epic battles with players from all over the world.
