Despite her age, Asha Bhosle’s enthusiasm for music and life remains undiminished. Ahead of a grand concert celebrating her 90th birthday, she shared her motivation for hosting energetic events. Asha expressed:

“I will also not come again… You should never regret that you haven’t seen that person. People say we did not see Kishore Kumar and other singers. But now you can say we have seen Asha Bhosle. I got the name and fame, people started recognising me. Even though when I am not working, I keep singing. I keep practising. I never left singing, that’s why my voice is okay even today.”

Throughout her illustrious career, Asha Bhosle has faced numerous challenges and hardships. In a candid conversation with her son, Anand Bhosle, during a live concert by PME Entertainment, she revealed how music has been her lifeline, even during the toughest times when she doubted her survival.

Asha Bhosle also spoke about her relationship with her elder sister, Lata Mangeshkar. Despite rumors of rivalry, she emphasized their strong bond in an interview with Hindustan Times:

“People did carry tales and try to create trouble, but blood is thicker than water. I remember, sometimes both of us would be at a function and some industry types would ignore me and interact only with her, as if to prove their loyalty. Later, didi and I would have a good laugh.”
