Azhdaha in Genshin Impact is one of the bosses that players encounter in the game. The ancient Geovishap was once an ally of the Geo Archon but due to unfortunate circumstances, rage clouded his mind, turning him into a force of nature that seeks to destroy everything. Azhdaha in Genshin Impact first appeared in a story quest relating to one of the playable characters, Zhongli. After completing the story quest, the ancient Geovishap then becomes a weekly boss that players can defeat once a week for various in-game loot such as character level-up materials, artifacts, Mora, Weapon Billet, and many more.
Who is Azhdaha in Genshin Impact?
According to the in-game archive, Azhdaha in Genshin Impact is “An enormous dragon as ancient as the mountains themselves. In an age that has all but faded from memory, he stood shoulder to shoulder with one who ruled over a harbor of stone. But in the end, the two came into conflict, and the dragon was banished to a dark place deep underground.”
Throughout the extended years of his imprisonment, Azhdaha’s once formidable power has gradually waned, while enduring a multitude of erosive forces that have also left him disfigured.
He was first introduced in the Historia Antiqua Story Quest during Act II. Completing the quest unlocks Azhdaha as one of the weekly bosses that drops exclusive level-up materials.
