BGIS 2023 Semi Final Day 4 Recap: Qualified Teams, Match Summary and More

Battlegrounds Mobile India Series (BGIS) 2023 Semi Finals have been difficult for some of the experienced teams. Teams like Team Soul, Enigma Gaming, Numen Gaming and Marcos Gaming who dominated the early stages of  BGIS 2023 put forth below average performances in the Semi Finals. The seasoned teams failed to adapt to the strategies adopted by the underdog teams and have been eliminated from the event.

BGIS 2023 Semi Finals Day 4 Match Summary

Match 1 Erangel (Groups B vs D): Gods Reign secured the first chicken dinner of the day with 25 total points. Shubham “NinjaJod” Sahoo was the star performer for Gods Reign as he secured 6 finishes. GlitchxReborn was placed second with 19 points. Brave Esports got 17 points 11 of which came from finishes. Growing Strong and Enigma Gaming also had a good start to the day as they secured 13 and 10 points respectively. Team X Spark and Revenant Esports were eliminated early with 2 points each.

Match 2 Miramar (Groups A vs D): Team Systumm grabbed a massive 27 point chicken dinner on the map of Miramar. Medal Esports held the center of the zone and got 20 points for its efforts. OR Esports showed good rotations and were able to grab 15 points. Revenant Esports made a comeback to secure 12 points. Team Soul held the center of the zone for the most part of the match but was unable to capitalize and was eliminated with 3 points.  

Match 3 Sanhok (Groups A vs C): Medal Esports grabbed the chicken dinner with 24 points. Ankit “TopDawg” Mehra was the top performer for them as he secured 7 finishes. Night Owls showed good teamwork and was placed second with 19 points. Midwave Esports and Big Brother Esports grabbed 17 and 16 points respectively. Team Soul again had a below average match and was eliminated with 3 points.

Match 4 Vikendi (Groups C vs D): OR Esports grabbed the chicken dinner on the map of Vikendi with 26 total points. Night Owls was placed second with 18 points, 12 of which came through finish points. Team Systumm and Gods Reign continued their momentum and grabbed 13 points each. Numen Gaming and Enigma gaming were eliminated in the initial phase with 1 and zero points respectively. 

Match 5 Miramar (B vs C): Midwave Esports grabbed a massive 27 points chicken dinner including 12 finish points. Nest Esports made a comeback and secured 22 points. GlitchxReborn was able to get 16 points for it’s efforts. Blind Esports and Numen Gaming grabbed 12 and 11 points respectively. Team X Spark and Marcos Gaming were eliminated early with 3 and 1 points respectively.

Match Erangel (A vs B): 4 Aggressive Man grabbed the chicken dinner in the last match of the Semi Finals. It was able to score 25 points from this match. AutoBotz Esports continued its good run and secured 24 points. It started the match by eliminating two squads in the first zone. MICI Esports again dominated the map of Erangel and grabbed 19 points. Medal Esports and Team X Spark were able to grab 12 and 10 points respectively. Team Soul was eliminated with zero points in an early engagement with AutoBotz Esports.

Underdog teams like MICI Esports, CS Esports and GlitchxReborn dominated the Semifinals and have grabbed a spot in the Grand Finals. Seasoned teams like Team Soul, Enigma Gaming, Marcos Gaming and Numen Gaming were not able to put forth good performances and have been eliminated from the event.
