BGIS 2024 Round 2: Overview, Teams Qualified for Round 3

Round 2 of the Battlegrounds Mobile India Series (BGIS) 2024 main event has concluded with underdog teams dominating the event. Round 2 saw 512 teams, which qualified from Round 1 and The Grind event, compete for a spot in Round 3. Each group played 6 matches, and a total of 224 teams i.e., the top 7 teams from each group advanced to Round 3. Additionally, the top 16 teams based on the overall standings among the remaining teams also qualified for Round 3. A total of 240 teams have advanced to Round 3 from Round 2.

BGIS 2024 Round 2 Overview

WSB Gaming scored the most points in Round 2 and placed at the top of the table with 113 points and 2 chicken dinners. Team XSpark placed second and got 107 points along with 2 chicken dinners. Both the teams were the only ones to grab 100 plus points in their 6 matches in Round 3. The upcoming squad of Team RGB showed consistent performances across all its matches and scored 72 points and 1 chicken dinner. RTGxIND was another upcoming team that dominated Round 3 and got 70 points with 1 chicken dinner, 55 of which came via finishes.

Round 2 saw multiple experienced teams like Team XSpark, Medal Esports, Team Zero and Carnival Gaming compete. Some of these teams were eliminated from The Grind event but were able to grab a spot in Round 1 from the in-game qualifiers. These teams have now advanced to play Round 3.
