Day 1 of Battlegrounds Mobile India Series (BGIS) 2024 The Grind Week 2 Groups 11 and 12 has concluded with upcoming teams dominating the event. Underdog teams like Raven Esports, Team Forever and THW Esports dominated Groups 11 along with GenxFM Esports and Team Zero from Groups 12.Ā 

The event will see 256 teams competing for a spot in the BGIS 2024 main event.

BGIS 2024 The Grind Week 2 Day 1 Groups 11 and 12 Match Summary

Match 1 Erangel: Velocity Gaming secured a 13 point chicken dinner. Raven Esports secured the most points from the match, 21, of which 15 points came via finishes. Team Forever placed second and got 15 points. Harshit ā€œMJā€ Mahajan was the Most Valuable Player (MVP) of the match with 5 finishes. Team Hybrid placed fourth, it showed aggressive gameplay and got 8 points. Hydra Official placed fifth and got 7 points, all coming via finishes. Redemption Crew and Team Vixxen were eliminated without any points.

Match 2 Miramar: Team Forever secured a massive chicken dinner with 28 points. Omega from Team Forever was the MVP of the match with 7 finishes. 1M Official placed second and got 12 points. THW Esports placed third, it showed aggressive gameplay and got 11 points, 10 of which came via finishes. Team Hybrid and Hydra Official placed fourth and fifth and got 8 points each. Velocity Gaming and SBA Esports were eliminated in the initial stages without any points.

Match 3 Sanhok: ForcaZyn Esports secured a 20 point chicken dinner. Zidane from ForcaZyn Esports was the MVP of the match with 4 finishes. THW Esports placed second and got 17 points. Hydra Official placed third, it showed good rotations and got 11 points. Team Forever placed fourth and scored 9 points. 4 Aggressive Man placed fifth and got 8 points. Team Hybrid was eliminated in the early stages with just a single point.

Match 1 Erangel: GenxFM Esports secured a 12 point chicken dinner. Team Zero placed second and got 21 points, 15 of which came via finishes. SyedOP from Team Zero was the MVP of the match with 7 finishes. FS Esports and Tarkin Spartans placed third and fourth and secured 10 points each. Ready 4 Domination placed fifth and got 9 points. Bot Army Esports and Team RGB were eliminated early without any points.

Match 2 Miramar: Originals Mizoram secured a 16 point chicken dinner. Bot Army Esports placed second and got 16 points, 13 of which came via finishes. Devoteee from Bot Army Esports was the MVP of the match with 6 finishes. RVNC Esports placed third and scored 14 points. All Star Esports placed fourth and secured 8 points. Utog Esports placed fifth and got 7 points. Team RGB was eliminated early without scoring any points.

Match 3 Sanhok: Tarkin Spartans secured a chicken dinner with 18 points. FS Esports placed second and scored 14 points. Galaxy Racers placed third and made a comeback and got 10 points. GenxFM Esports continued its good run and got 9 points. JDGaming from GenxFm Esports was the MVP of the match with 5 solo finishes. Team VRH Ten placed fifth and got 8 points. All Star Esports and Utog Esports were eliminated without any points.

Day 1 of the event was dominated by upcoming teams like GenxFM Esports, Raven Esports and Team Zero along with the seasoned squad of FS Esports and Hydra Official. A few teams like Redemption Crew, RGB Esports and Team Vixxen were unable to put forth consistent performance and placed in the bottom of the points table with single digit points.
