Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) being one of the most popular battle royale mobile games in India has provided a lot of players and teams a chance to showcase their skills and abilities through its esports platform. Since the unban of BGMI the number of teams and players has seen a significant growth. For the teams, players and fans to keep a track of the performance, AFK Gaming launched its BGMI Team Rankings where teams are placed according to their performance in recent events.
The have seen significant changes after the conclusion of the Battlegrounds Mobile India Pro Series (BMPS) 2023 event. Below are the teams that had the biggest shifts in ranks.
Major changes in the BGMI leaderboards after BMPS 2023
Team Together Esports – #43 (43 ranks up):
Team Together Esports is one of the upcoming teams in BGMI. It was able to put forth consistent performances in the league stage of BMPS 2023 and grabbed a spot in the Grand Finals LAN event, where it showed glimpses of brilliance but was unable to show consistency leading to it being placed at the 13th spot. Due to its performance in the BMPS 2023 event it was able climb up 43 ranks and grab the 43rd spot in the BGMI Team Rankings.
Hydra Esports – #32 (32 ranks up):
Hydra Esports is one of the veteran esports organizations in India. It signed an upcoming lineup for the BMPS 2023 event. The squad impressed everyone with its performance in the first week of the league stage where it grabbed the majority of the points and qualified for the Grand Finals. It was also able to grab two chicken dinners in the Grand Finals, but it did not put forth consistent performances in other matches which led to it placing in the 10th spot in the overall points table. Its performance in the BMPS 2023 event led it to climb 32 ranks and secure the 32nd spot in the BGMI Team Rankings.
GenxFM – #31 (23 ranks up):
The upcoming squad of GenxFM has been able to impress the fans with its performance over the past couple of months. It made its first appearance in the BGMI India Series (BGIS) 2023 event and has been performing consistently. It was able to put forth a good fight against seasoned teams in the BMPS 2023 event and grabbed the 31st spot in the BGMI Team Rankings after climbing 23 ranks.
AutoBotz Esports – #39 (21 ranks up):
AutoBotz Esports is one of the upcoming BGMI teams. It has been performing consistently across multiple events and its best performance was in the BMPS 2023 event where it was able to qualify for the Grand Finals LAN event. Due to its performance in the BMPS 2023 event it has climbed up 21 ranks and grabbed the 39th spot in the BGMI Team Rankings.
8BitxCS – #20 (20 ranks up):
The BMPS 2023 event was the first official BGMI event for the 8BitxCS squad. It started the event slow but grabbed momentum in Week 2 of the league stage and its performance in the last couple of matches helped it qualify for the BMPS 2023 Grand Finals LAN event. It was one of the most consistent teams in the Grand Finals and was placed 6th in the overall points table. Its performance in the BMPS 2023 event helped it climb 20 ranks and secure a spot in the top 20 teams in the BGMI Team Rankings.
Numen Esports – #23 (19 ranks up):
Numen Esports was formed just before the start of BGIS 2023 and has shown glimpses of brilliance but is yet to put forth its best performance. It showed aggressive gameplay in the BMPS 2023 Grand Finals and was placed in the 9th spot in the overall standings. Its performance in the BMPS 2023 event led it to climb 19 ranks and secure the 23rd spot.
