ESL Snapdragon BGMI Pro Series Challenge Season Week 1: Overview, MVP and More

Week 1 of ESL Snapdragon BGMI Pro Series Challenge Season has concluded with seasoned teams dominating the event. Teams like Team Prince, Gods Reign, Chemin Esports, Revenant Esports and Alibaba Raiders have shown their prowess and dominated Week 1 of the Challenge Season. A few Seasoned teams like Team 8Bit, Medal Esports, Global Esports and Carnival Gaming have shown glimpses of brilliance but are yet to put forth consistent performances.

The 32 participating teams were divided into 4 groups of 8 each with each group playing in the round robin format. Week 1 was played across three days with each day consisting of 6 matches and each group playing three matches each day. 

Tanjot “Ninjaboi” Singh was the Most Valuable Player (MVP) of ESL Snapdragon BGMI Pro Series Challenge Season Week 1 with 21 finishes in 9 matches. Tanishk “Admino” Singh placed second in the MVP list with 17 finishes and Harshit “MJ” Mahajan placed third with 16 finishes.

ESL Snapdragon BGMI Pro Series Challenge Season Week 1 Summary

Team Prince was the most consistent team in the first week of the Challenge Season. It showed a position based gameplay and was able to score 95 points, 59 of which came via placements. Gods Reign placed second by showcasing dominance and grabbed 90 points, including two chicken dinners. Revenant Esports placed third and put forth good fights against the top teams and was tied with Gods Reign with 90 points. Chemin Esports placed fourth with 89 points.

Alibaba Raiders, the newly introduced esports organization dominated against some of the experienced teams and was able to grab 88 points, 65 of which came via placements. Entity Gaming placed sixth and scored 87 points from its 9 matches. IQOO Soul placed seventh in the points table and was one of the most aggressive teams, scoring 84 points, 49 of which came via finishes. Team forever placed eighth in the points table and was able to grab 83 points.

Week 1 of ESL Snapdragon BGMI Pro Series Challenge Season played out as per fans and viewers’ expectations where experienced teams were able to put forth consistent performances, dominating the event. A few seasoned teams like Carnival Gaming, Medal Esports and Global Esports have shown glimpses of brilliance but were inconsistent and are placed in the second half of the points table. The teams placed at the bottom of the table will look to make a comeback and score as many points as possible in Week 2 in order to grab a place in the top 16.
