Damage appears to still be being done in the months since last year’s major hack, which saw over 100 Gigabytes of files from Rockstar Games’ projects leaked into the public domain.
Over the last few hours, there have been rumors circulating that the complete source code for Grand Theft Auto V has been leaked, including new Python code for GTA VI and all of the files from Bully 2, the long-canceled game, of which only glimpses were previously visible.
According to reports, the leak may potentially contain files and codes for GTA 6, as well as a presumed Bully sequel from the 2006 game developed by the studio.
Notably, last week saw the hacker who assisted in the release of GTA 6 gameplays from previous year get a sentence of indefinite hospital prison.
In response to a leak that had leaked the trailer online, the GTA 6 trailer was even released fifteen hours ahead of schedule.
As if last year’s massive leak, which disclosed a ton of GTA 6 details, wasn’t terrible enough, many sources have reported that even more information has leaked again.
Key information, including the source code for Grand Theft Auto V, which was purportedly taken by a juvenile using a mobile device in a hotel room last year, was allegedly exchanged covertly up to this point.
Recent screenshots indicate that it is now being shared online.
