Gladiators Esports was one of the newer esports organizations in India. It enjoyed a lot of success since the unban of Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) in May 2023. It acquired three players from the Chemin Esports BGMI roster and signed an upcoming player in June 2023. Since then the team dominated across multiple BGMI events. It also won its first ever official BGMI event in 2023.
As of 26th December 2023, Gladiators Esports is placed at the top of the table in the . It dominated in various LAN events and also won some of them due to which it is placed at the top of the table in the leaderboards.
Although Gladiators Esports enjoyed a significant amount of success in 2023, and also ended its operations completely. In this article we will break down Gladiators Esports’ performance in each month of 2023.
Gladiators Esports’ journey in 2023
Gladiators Esports was one of the upcoming esports organizations in India and it was able to make a significant impact on the Indian mobile esports scene after the introduction of its BGMI roster. The Battlegrounds Mobile India Masters Series (BGMS) Season 2 2023 was the first LAN event for the team and it showed aggressive gameplay in the event and was crowned the champion. It was able to replicate the same in the Battlegrounds Mobile India Series (BGIS) 2023 event and was again crowned the champion in the LAN Grand Finals event.

As of 26th December 2023, Gladiators Esports has parted ways with its BGMI roster.
The month of June was filled with third party events and Gladiators Esports showed consistent performance in most of those events.
The Upthrust Esports Survivors Saga Season 2 was the first event for the Gladiators Esports squad and it placed second in the event. It also played the Novum Overpower Series Season 1 and Skyesports Champions Series events and placed 10th and 9th respectively due to inconsistent performances.
It ended the month on a high and placed third in the Global Esports Fight Night Pro Scrims event and second in the Upthrust Esports Challengers Showdown event.
The Gladiators Esports squad grabbed a couple of podium finishes in the month of June due to which it was placed 11th with a score of 1.50 on the AFK Gaming BGMI team rankings.
Gladiators Esports performed consistently in the month of July as it had a couple of podium finishes and also won two third party events.
Gladiators Esports started the month by winning the Nodwin BGMI Champions Cup event. But it was not able to replicate the same in the IQOO Pro Series event where it placed 13th.
In mid July, it played the Villager Esports Pro Invitational 2023 and Ranbhoomi Season 2 and secured 10th and 3rd place respectively. It ended the month on a high and won the India Today League Invitationals event.
Gladiators Esports’ consistent performance in the month of July helped it climb 9 ranks and it was placed 2nd with a score of 21.70.
Gladiators Esports played three events in the month of August but it saw a slight dip in its performance in two of those events, but the team ended the month on a high.
It started the month by playing the Upthrust Esports Survivors Throne Season 4 event and placed 10th. It also played BGIS 2023 The Grind, which was the qualifying tournament for the BGIS 2023 main event. It placed 16th in the event and secured a slot in Round 3 of the BGIS 2023 main event.
It ended the month on a high and put forth its best performance in the BGMS Season 2 2023 LAN event and was crowned the champion.
Gladiators Esports performance in the BGMS Season 2 2023 event helped it climb 1 rank to secure the top spot on the leaderboards with a score of 131.70.
Gladiators Esports played only one event in the month of September and it was not able to put forth a good performance.
Gladiators Esports played the Upthrust Esports Pro Showdown Season 2 event and placed 15th due to inconsistent performances.
Even though Gladiators Esports did not put forth a good performance in the only event it played, it maintained its position at the top of the leaderboards with a score of 131.70.
Gladiators Esports played two major BGMI events, BGIS 2023 and India – Korea Invitational and a third party event Battle For Revolution Season 2 in the month of October.
It started the month by playing the Battle For Revolution Season 2 event and placed 16th. It started the BGIS 2023 LAN Grand Finals slowly but made a remarkable comeback on the last day of the Grand Finals and was crowned the champion of the event.
Its performance in the India – Korea Invitational event saw a slight dip and it placed 7th in the event.
Gladiators Esports’ consistent performance in the BGIS 2023 LAN Grand Finals event helped it maintain the top spot with a score of 241.55.
Gladiators Esports played three events in the month of November and it saw a slight dip in its performance.
It played the Skyesports Championship 5.0 Grand Finals LAN event and put forth consistent performances but it wasn’t enough as it placed 8th. It also played the Upthrust Esports Diwali Battle event but was inconsistent throughout due to which it placed 14th.
It also played the RedBull Mobile Open Esports (MEO) Showmatch event and regained its form to place 4th.
Although Gladiators Esports did not put forth a good performance in the month of November, it still maintained its position with a score of 242.87.
The month of December had only one tournament, the Battlegrounds Mobile India Pro Series (BMPS) 2023 LAN Grand Finals.
The Gladiators Esports squad put forth consistent performances in the league stage and the LAN Grand Finals of BMPS 2023 event. It made a good comeback on the last day of the Grand Finals but placed second in the event.
Due to its consistent performance in the BMPS 2023 event, Gladiators Esports maintained the top spot with a score of 271.47.
Due to its performance across multiple LAN events where it was able to win two major events, BGMS Season 2 2023 and BGIS 2023, and since it placed second in the BMPS 2023 event, it can be said that Gladiators Esports was one of the most successful BGMI teams in 2023. Although the squad performed consistently in the 2023 season the organization has parted ways with the roster.
