Day 1 of IQOO Pro Series Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) 2024 Group Stage event has concluded with seasoned teams like Carnival Gaming, Godlike Esports, Team XSpark and Gods Reign dominating the event.
Carnival Gaming is placed at the top of the table with 66 points and two chicken dinners. Godlike Esports placed second with 38 points and one chicken dinner. Team XSpark placed third with 38 points, 27 of which came via finishes. Gods Reign placed fourth with 37 points. IQOO Soul placed fifth with 34 points and a chicken dinner.
IQOO Pro Series BGMI 2024 Group Stage Day 1 Match Summary
Match 1 Erangel (A vs B): The upcoming squad of SkullTZ Esports secured a massive 26 point chicken dinner on the map of Erangel. Phoenix and Bijulu from SkullTZ Esports were the Most Valuable Players of the match with 6 finishes each. Dark Spirits placed second and got 14 points. Revenant Esports showed good rotations and scored 12 points. Gods Reign placed fourth scoring 11 points.
Match 2 Miramar (A vs C): Carnival Gaming grabbed its first chicken dinner with 20 points. Harsh “Goblin” Paudwal from Carnival Gaming was the MVP of the match with 6 solo finishes. Match 5 Erangel (A vs C): Entity Gaming secured a 19 point chicken dinner on the map of Erangel. Hydra Esports made a comeback and showed aggressive gameplay and scored 16 points, 11 of which came via finishes. Team XSpark continued its good run and got 15 points. Shubham “NinjaJod” Sahoo from Team XSpark was the MVP of the match with 7 solo finishes. IQOO Soul had back to back good matches and got 13 points. Carnival Gaming placed fifth and got 8 points. Godlike Esports and TWM Gaming were eliminated with a single point each.
Match 6 Miramar (B vs C): Godlike Esports secured a massive 26 point chicken dinner. Aditya “Aditya” Mathe from Godlike Esports was the MVP of the match with 5 finishes. Gods Reign, OR Esports and Carnival Gaming placed second, third and fourth and got 13 points each. Team XSpark again had a good match and scored 11 points. Day 1 of IQOO Pro Series BGMI 2024 Group Stage has been dominated by seasoned teams. Some of the experienced teams like Medal Esports, Blind Esports and Team Tamilas are placed in the second half of the points table due to inconsistent performances. With only 6 matches left in the Group stages the bottom placed teams will be looking to make a comeback to grab a spot in the event’s Grand Finals.
