Day 2 of Upthrust Esports Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) The Patriot Cup Grand Finals concluded with some of the seasoned teams like Orangutan, Team Tamilas, Gods Reign and Reckoning Esports dominating the event.
Team Tamilas is placed at the top of the table with 92 points including a chicken dinner. Chemin Esports placed second and received 88 points and three chicken dinners. Gods Reign placed at the third spot with 79 points including two chicken dinners. Reckoning Esports placed at the fourth spot with 75 points and three chicken dinners. Orangutan placed fifth with 73 points and two chicken dinners.
The Patriot Cup BGMI Grand Finals Day 2 Match Summary
Match 1 Erangel: IQOO Soul secured a 23 point chicken dinner on the map of Erangel. Mohammad “Manya” Raja from IQOO Soul was the Most Valuable Player (MVP) of the match with 7 solo finishes. AeroBotz Esports and Medal Esports placed second and third respectively, and made a comeback to grab 10 points each. Hyderabad Hydras placed fourth and got 9 points. WSB Gaming placed fifth and got 7 points. Entity Gaming and Orangutan were eliminated in the early stages with 1 point each.
Match 2 Miramar: AeroBotz Esports secured a 17 point chicken dinner. Although AeroBotz Esports secured the chicken dinner, Orangutan got the most points, 20, from the match, 14 out of which came via finishes. Shubham “Drigger” Quiriyal was the MVP of the match with 5 solo finishes. Godlike Esports placed third and got 12 points. Team Tamilas and WSB Gaming placed fourth and fifth got 8 points each. Gods Reign, Medal Esports and Hyderabad Hydras were eliminated without scoring any points.
Match 3 Sanhok: Orangutan continued its momentum and secured a 19 point chicken dinner. Team Tamilas placed second and showed aggressive gameplay and got 17 points, 13 out of which came via finishes. TWM Gaming and AeroBotz Esports placed third and fourth, to get 9 points each. Hyderabad Hydras placed fifth and got 8 points. IQOO Soul, Gods Reign and OR Esports were eliminated in the early stages without scoring any points.
Match 4 Vikendi: Chemin Esports secured a 20 point chicken dinner. Venom from Chemin Esports was the MVP of the match with 6 solo finishes. Entity Gaming placed second and got 17 points. Team Tamilas and Gods Reign placed third and fourth and got 8 points each. AeroBotz Esports continued its good run and got 7 points. OR Esports and TWM Gaming were eliminated in the initial stages with zero points.
Match 5 Erangel: WSB Gaming secured a 21 point chicken dinner. Godz from WSB Gaming was the MVP of the match with 8 finishes. TWM Gaming placed second, showed good rotations and got 14 points. Gods Reign had a good mix of finish and placement points and got 11 points. Orangutan and Reckoning Esports placed fourth and fifth to get 9 and 8 points respectively. Over 8 teams including Reckoning Esports, Chemin Esports and WSB Gaming were eliminated without scoring any points.
Match 6 Miramar: Chemin Esports secured its second chicken dinner of the day with 24 points. Dope from Chemin Esports was the MVP of the match with 7 solo finishes. Gods Reign continued its momentum and got 14 points. AutoBotz Esports placed third and received 12 points. Team Tamilas and AeroBotz Esports placed fourth and fifth and got 8 and 7 points respectively. Medal Esports and OR Esports were eliminated with a single point each.
Day 2 of Upthrust Esports BGMI The Patriot Cup Grand Finals was dominated by teams like Team Tamilas, Chemin Esports, Gods Reign and Orangutan. Some of the teams like Medal Esports, OR Esports and Hyderabad Hydras are placed at the bottom of the points table due to inconsistent performances.
