The secrecy surrounding the voice of Shadow The Hedgehog in the upcoming Sonic The Hedgehog 3 movie has had fans scouring for any information. Now, however, it appears we have news as Keanu Reeves appears to be the voice behind Shadow in Sonic 3.
According to John Campea, Reeves will be lending his voice to the legendary antihero.
“It’s done; it’s signed. Keanu Reeves is our voice of Shadow,” Campea said he was told by someone connected to the project during the recent CinemaCon event.

“I ran this to somebody else, and the first response I got was, ‘Who told you that?’. After I wouldn’t say who it was [the person] was like, ‘Yea it is’.”
Sonic The Hedgehog 3 releases in theaters on December 20, 2024. The six-episode mini-series, Knuckles, debuts April 26 on Paramount+, and takes place between the events of Sonic 2 and 3.
In addition to the movie, a remake of the original Sonic Heroes is in development at SEGA for the next Nintendo console. This information comes from reports by multiple Nintendo sources.
