Blind Esports is one of the veteran esports organizations in India. It has rosters in various esports titles such as Free Fire, Clash of Clans and Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI). It acquired the ex Global Esports BGMI roster in April 2023 and since then has enjoyed a lot of success. It has dominated several third party events including official BGMI tournaments.
In a recent live stream Asarudheen “Vaadhiyaar” Samsudheen, Founder, Team Tamilas and Director, Blind Esports revealed that Blind Esports has been trailing out for the BGMI coaching position and Shubham “Mayavi” Chawla may join the team in the future.
Vaadhi reveals Mayavi may join Blind Esports as a coach
Mayavi is a well known personality in the BGMI community. He was the coach of Global Esports’ BGMI roster and has achieved good results with them.
In a recent , Vaadhiyaar revealed that Blind Esports is exploring various options for the coach position and Mayavi is one of them. He said, “We are still trying a few things and nothing has been confirmed as of now. Once confirmed I will inform you guys”.
Talking about Mayavi as a coach he said, “Mayavi might join as he is a very effective coach and a very knowledgeable person.”
Mayavi’s resume as a coach has been good as he won the Battlegrounds Mobile India Masters Series (BGMS) 2022 Season 1 with the current Blind Esports roster and placed fourth in this year’s BGMS 2023 Season 2 with Global Esports.
If Mayavi joins Blind Esports, it would not be difficult for him to gel up with the team as he has already worked with them in the past.
Blind Esports had a good run in the recently concluded BGMI India vs Korea Invitational where it placed fourth. It will now be seen playing the Skyesports Championship 5.0 BGMI Grand Finals from 3rd to 5th November and the team is one of the contenders to win the championship.
