Rocksteady Gives Suicide Squad Early Access Players $20 Worth Of In-Game Currency For Down Time - Insider Gaming

The early access launch of Rocksteady’s Suicide Squad was anything but smooth for the first regions to gain access. Within an hour of launch, Rocksteady had to pull the game and take it offline to address a bug causing the game to auto complete after loading.

The game was down for over six hours on Monday as well as again for about an hour on Tuesday for more maintenance. While this downtime for the online-only game certainly upset those who spent $100 for the early access, Rocksteady is attempting to make it up to players.

Those who own the Deluxe Edition were sent an in-game message along with 2000 LuthorCoins for the inconvenience.

“Thank you for being one of our first console players during early access of Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League,” Rocksteady said. “We recognize that you’ve been patient with us during our initial launch server updates and we’d like to show our appreciation for your patience with a special gift of 2000 LuthorCoins. Thank you again!”

LuthorCoins can be used to purchase skins within Suicide Squad with the average skin being available for 1000 coins. Some higher-variant skins can cost 2000 coins. Players can purchase 2000 LuthorCoins for $20 in the game.

Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League launches in full on February 2 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
