Match 1 Miramar: Revenant Esports secured a 19 point chicken dinner. Orangutan placed second and scored 15 points. Ankit “Akop” Gupta from Orangutan was the Most Valuable Player (MVP) of the match with 7 finishes. Entity Gaming placed third and got 12 points, 8 of which came via finishes. Chemin Esports and Genesis Esports placed fourth and fifth and got 10 and 9 points respectively. Team Forever was eliminated early with just a single point.
Match 2 Erangel: WSB Gaming secured an 18 point chicken dinner. Blind Esports and Team 8bit placed second and third and scored 12 points each. Aditya “Aditya” Mathe from Team 8Bit was the MVP of the match with 6 finishes. Global Esports placed fourth and got 10 points, 9 of which came via finishes. Team Forever placed fifth and got 9 points. Gods Reign and Team Limra were eliminated early with a single point each.
Match 3 Sanhok: Team XSpark secured a 14 point chicken dinner. K9 Esports placed second and got 13 points. Blind Esports placed third, showed good rotations and scored 10 points. Team 8Bit and WSB Gaming placed fourth and fifth and got 9 and 8 points respectively. Aditya “Aditya” Mathe from Team 8Bit was the MVP of the match with 4 finishes. Hydra Esports was eliminated early with a single point.
Match 4 Erangel: Entity Gaming grabbed a 17 point chicken dinner. Global Esports placed second and scored 13 points. Genesis Esports and Team Limra placed third and fourth and got 11 points each. Team Tamilas placed second and got 16 points, 10 of which came via finishes. WSB Gaming placed third and scored 11 points. Genesis Esports and Hydra Esports placed fourth and fifth and got 7 points each. Bot Army, Marcos Gaming and Gujarat Tigers were eliminated in the initial stages with zero points.
Day 1 of the event was dominated by seasoned teams like Orangutan, Entity Gaming and Team XSpark along with upcoming teams like K9 Esports and WSB Gaming.
