Among the 50 teams gearing up to battle for glory, two have been specially invited based on their remarkable global performances. Gaimin Gladiators, with a Russian lineup known for their remarkable skills, also received a special invitation. Their journey through PMGC 2020 and 2021, earning fourth and second places respectively, coupled with their other global achievements, helped cement their position as a special invitee for the PMGC 2023 League Stage​.

On the other hand, DRS Gaming, a celebrated squad from Nepal, showcased a spectacular performance by securing the runner-up position in PMGC 2022.
