Animesh “Thug” Agarwal is a well known personality in the gaming industry. He is the owner of 8Bit Esports and he is also the owner of S8UL Esports, an organization which boasts an esports lineup in Pokemon Unite along with dozens of content creators. He is also the owner of 8Bit Creatives, a talent management company which manages a number of creators.
In a recent interview, Thug talked about his biggest achievement in gaming, hosting esports events in stadiums and his responsibilities as a founder of the organization.

In an exclusive interview with AFK Gaming, Thug answered a bunch of questions giving a good deal of insight into the man himself.
Thug was asked about his biggest achievement in the gaming scene to which his response was, “For me personally, S8UL winning the Content Creator of the Year award at the Esports awards was one of the biggest achievements. My personal vision was having content creators and promoting good content, and winning the award justifies my vision. For me, Mortal and Goldy, this is the biggest achievement for us.”
When asked about his responsibilities as the founder of the organization, he replied, “I think the most important aspect of being a founder is keeping the team together. When you have an organization which has about 40 to 50 people in it, keeping them together is one of the biggest challenges.”
Thug was asked about a prediction he had made in 2019 about hosting esports events in stadiums and BMPS 2023 being one such event. Thug responded, “Definitely BMPS 2023 is one of the biggest LAN events in India and I don’t think there has been a bigger LAN event in India. Krafton is supporting the Indian ecosystem and investing a lot in the growth of the ecosystem, and this LAN event is one of the prime examples of it.”
Thug was also asked about his mantra for success and his advice for the next generation, to which he said, “The mantra for success is to work with honesty. Be honest to yourself, your business and the people who trust you.”
Thug has achieved remarkable success through S8UL by providing entertaining content which has led to the organization winning back to back Content Creator of the Year awards at the Esports Awards.
