The 2023 Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) season has concluded with the BGMI Pro Series (BMPS) 2023 event. After BGMI was unbanned in May over a dozen third party tournaments were organized in the first two months with massive prize pools. The first official event of 2023 saw its Grand Finals being played on LAN, which was also the first BGMI LAN tournament. BGMS Season 2 2023 (INR 2.1 Crores):
The Battlegrounds Mobile India Masters Series (BGMS) Season 2 2023 LAN event was one of the biggest events in BGMI with a prize pool of INR 2.1 Crores. The LAN event was also only the second BGMI event to be telecasted by one of the major sports broadcasters Star Sports.

BGIS 2023 (INR 2 Crores):
Battlegrounds Mobile India Series (BGIS) 2023 was the first official event in 2023 after BGMI was unbanned in May. The tournament had a qualification event named BGIS 2023 The Grind along with the open qualifiers for upcoming teams. It was also the first official BGMI LAN event.
The BGIS 2023 event was also the first event where the lower bracket format was introduced to give the teams a second chance for qualification.

It also had three qualification events named Skyesports Champions Series, Skyesports Skirmish Series Season 2 and the Skyesports Championship 5.0 Semi Finals through which the teams qualified for the main event.

The event took place with the top 96 teams invited from the BGIS 2023 event. The event had LAN Grand Finals with thousands of live spectators turning up at the venue.
